About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as a North Sydney Retail Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee the network of stores in the North West Sydney area, driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and development initiatives.



Your Responsibilities:



  • Lead, grow and develop teams of paid employees and volunteers
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to every customer, every time
  • Embed operational and visual merchandise standards
  • Meet and exceed sales and KPI performance of the stores
  • Champion the voice of the donor by upholding high standards in product sorting, pricing and placement
  • Build and support the volunteer workforce and engage with the local community
  • Role-model a 'safety first' culture in stores
  • Use the company's mission and values to support decision making and act as a brand advocate inside and outside of stores


Your Skills and Qualifications:



  • Retail and management experience, preferably in large retail outlet/s
  • Able to review and analyse business data and analytics for effective reporting and decision-making
  • Proven people management skills, including leading, motivating, coaching and developing teams
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing profit and loss statements
  • High-level understanding of current issues facing the retail sector and not-for-profit industry
  • New South Wales driver licence and ability to travel across the region
