Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned logistics professional to excel in a fast-paced cargo coordination environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a central point of coordination for our cargo division by providing exceptional customer service and expert operational support.

Key responsibilities include tracking and updating critical cargo events, maintaining advanced knowledge and competency in operating key cargo systems, and proactively identifying and communicating high-priority cargo flights.

The ideal candidate will also provide a central point of contact and support for cargo stakeholders, monitor weather conditions throughout the network, and implement necessary changes to the operation.

In addition, the role involves providing operational systems support to front-line teams and escalating incidents to the respective support team as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in cargo operational roles such as operations control, terminal operations or similar
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Capacity to work and communicate effectively under intense pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Dangerous goods knowledge and understanding of cargo IATA regulations
  • Understanding of airline logistics operations and air cargo industry knowledge
