Procurement and Insurance Expertise Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Insurance expert to lead and manage our procurement strategy and insurance program, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and risk-managed operations that support business objectives and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies and frameworks that align with the organisation's objectives and deliver value for money across key categories such as fleet, fuel, personal protective equipment, travel, and site services.
  • Supplier Management: Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier selection, tender processes, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement processes are compliant with relevant policies and regulations, and identify opportunities to drive cost efficiencies, sustainability, and innovation in the supply chain via procurement.
Insurance Program Management:
  • Insurance Portfolio Development: Lead the development and maintenance of the organisation's general insurance portfolio, including property, liability, motor, and marine insurance.
  • Insurance Risk Management: Ensure appropriate levels of insurance cover are in place across the organisation and manage relationships with brokers and insurers.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: 7+ years' experience in procurement and insurance, ideally within transport, warehousing, or logistics industries.
  • Skills: Proven experience managing complex lease negotiations, strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
