We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at HealthcareLink, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client-centric services.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and outcome-focussed Speech Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with carers, assistants, and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties, aiming to achieve optimal independence and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients' needs.
  • Train carers in effective communication strategies and work with them to develop mealtime plans and support.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve functional goals and provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions, and outcome measures.
  • NDIS experience is preferable but not essential.
  • A strong passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
