Job Description: Business ManagerThe Business Manager will support the delivery of quality learning and teaching within a Catholic school context through effective financial and business management. This role involves managing all areas of business administration, finance, risk management, resource, property, and facility management and development.
This position requires extensive leadership experience and a strong financial and business background. The successful applicant will have the ability to build an effective team to achieve the organisation's goals, demonstrate organisational, planning, and communication skills, and develop effective relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
Essential Criteria:- An Undergraduate/Postgraduate university qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- CA/CPA qualifications
We offer a competitive remuneration package valued at up to $155,369 per annum, including a base salary ranging from $111,001 to $139,344, and salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually. Additionally, we provide ongoing training and development opportunities, discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products, and a generous Employee Referral Program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management, and strategic development, including asset management, risk management, budget preparation and management, and financial statements. They will also oversee Work Health & Safety (WHS) management, coordination of repairs and maintenance at the school, and ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of an executive team.
