About this role
This position is an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to work together to address domestic and family violence.
The Crisis Accommodation Program Manager will lead the development of a program that provides high-level practice and professional supervision to a team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the management of team performance, recruitment, training, induction, supervision, and support.
- Coordinate policies, procedures, and resources necessary for effective crisis accommodation service delivery.
- Develop and implement a trauma-informed practice framework that prioritizes cultural safety.
- Deliver an integrated model that addresses the needs of Aboriginal women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
- Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide service-wide training and practice leadership to ensure staff are equipped to deliver trauma-informed care.
- Ensure data and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling, and applicable membership of a professional body.
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in professional supervision.
- 3+ years' experience in leading a small team.
- Up-to-date post-graduate training and certificates in culturally safe professional supervision.
- Highly developed computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and contemporary cloud-based software.
- Working with children check, police clearance, Covid-19 vaccination, and driver's license.
