Job Title: Senior Business Services Accountant

The Role:

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio across various industries and entity types.
  • Prepare accurate BAS/IAS, financial statements, and tax returns excluding SMSF.
  • Perform complex calculations for Division 7A, CGT, and FBT.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to advisory discussions.
  • Review the work of junior and intermediate accountants.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their development.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional service.

About You:

  • You're an experienced public practice accountant with expertise in tax and compliance work.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an Australian accounting firm.
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking.
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
  • Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
