**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Location: Birtinya**
Kilcoy Global Foods has seen outstanding growth, achieving 20%+ CAGR over the past 5 years, on the back of significant investment at the Kilcoy plant in operations, warehousing and distribution that see our products sold across the globe to over 35 countries.
Kilcoy Global Foods has also increased the number of operating entities, business units and legal entities within the consolidated tax and financial accounting group, that includes our sites in Queensland, Kilcoy, Caloundra, and Victoria, Gippsland and Kyneton.
As a result of these changes to the scale, scope and complexity of the KGF Australia business, we are now looking for a FP&A Analyst to partner with our Sales, Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely commercial analysis, planning and reporting, including pricing/costing analysis, planning/budgeting/forecasting and management reporting.
**ABOUT YOU**
You will have experience working within complex business environments, where dealing with ambiguity and making decisions based with imperfect information will be second nature to you. You will have exceptional conflict management and negotiation skills, combined with high level communication that allows you to deal and influencing within a business environment, at all levels and with a variety of key stakeholders.
**YOUR RESPONSILBITIES**
- Contribute to the delivery of business and financial objectives through proactive involvement in day-to-day operations
- Effectively partner with commercial & operations teams to improve pricing & business decisions through accurate & timely analysis with clear articulation of drivers
- Perform margin analysis to understand drivers of profit (channel, market, customer & product)
- Partner in the development of business cases (including scenario analysis) to improve decision making
- Support the delivery of the business units forecasting and budgeting processes, including analysis of change for all financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow)
- Standardise reporting and analytics practices ensuring consistent, comparable, and easily understood output
- Development and maintenance of costing models including yield analysis
- Support in delivery if continuous improvement initiatives to drive margin improvement
- Partner in other finance initiatives and processes as required (eg: month end, cost centre reviews, planning)
**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
**You will bring with you**:
- Effective communication to deliver outcomes
- Skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships across business
- Ability to distil detailed costing information into clear reports/messages
- A demonstrated ability in multi-tasking/prioritisation
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively where necessary
- Financial analysis & modelling
- Finance acumen
**Qualifications required**:
- CPA/CA Qualifies (or equivalent)
- Prior experience as a Cost Accountant partnering Operations team
- Agri-business / FMCG experience preferable
