Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist to drive the creation of compelling communication and content pieces for various audiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute impactful content that showcases our achievements to our team, communities, partners, and the sector.

This is a full-time, ongoing role where you will:

  • Craft communications and content pieces to drive desired outcomes, including website and social media content, internal and external newsletters, blogs, white papers, and nurture, acquisition, and retention campaigns.
  • Manage inbound engagement through social media platforms to ensure positive interactions.
  • Support service leaders and support services with training, tools, and documentation to foster effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with external partners, including media, to position us favourably.
  • Provide strategic contributions and high-level thinking to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support reputation and crisis management responses when necessary.
  • Manage projects to enhance continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analyse data and report on the effectiveness of communications activities to inform future marketing and communications planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in developing internal and external communications and content.
  • A valid driver's licence and working with children check.
  • Desktop publishing experience with intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Video and audio editing expertise.
  • Strong coordination skills and ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting, grammar, and editing.
  • A team player with a goal-oriented mindset.
