Electrical Fitter Role

Maintaining a future-focused electricity network is crucial for the success of our business. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribution asset construction and maintenance involve cable termination, mini pillar maintenance, and switchgear maintenance.
  • Fault response and fault rectification works are essential in ensuring the reliability of our network.
  • The installation of services from our distribution network to customers' premises requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Connection and disconnection of supply, including non-payment of account disconnections, necessitate effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Participate in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary based on company policy.
  • Customer quality of supply investigations and electrical infrastructure testing are critical components of this role.

  • You will champion a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment by taking active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community.
  • A minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician is required for this position.
  • Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure is highly valued.
  • High risk license – EWP, OH&S General Induction Card, Asbestos Awareness training, and a current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent are mandatory qualifications.
