Key Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lineworker to join our team in Canberra, the nation's capital. As a key player in constructing, servicing, and maintaining the city's electricity network, you will be part of driving us towards a net-zero future.

This is a unique opportunity to work on various projects, including installing, altering, and maintaining our distribution network for customer-requested servicing works. You will also be responsible for connecting and disconnecting supply, construction and maintenance of the overhead and underground electricity network, servicing, substation construction and maintenance, fault response and fault rectification works.

We own, maintain, and operate the electricity distribution network in the Australian Capital Territory and parts of New South Wales. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective electricity to over 200,000 residential and business customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
  • Current ACT motor vehicle licence (MR) or its acceptable equivalent
  • High Risk licence EWP
  • Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure
