Accounts Payable Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our high-performing finance team based in Artarmon.

This role suits someone with an AP or Assistant Accountant background, keen eye for detail, and passion for driving process efficiency within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

  • This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and approvals.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment or invoice queries.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliations.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and assist with month-end close including AP accruals.
  • Maintain accurate AP records and support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, payment runs, and data entry tasks.
  • Provide general support across the finance team as needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in AP processes and reporting.

About the Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Assistant Accountant role.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes and financial systems (SAP or similar ERP preferred).
  • High attention to detail and methodical approach to financial tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with expense management tools.
  • A proactive mindset with willingness to contribute to a high-performing finance team.
