Hardship Case Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in critical discussions with customers experiencing financial hardship to identify suitable solutions.
  • Perform thorough hardship assessments for existing customers and provide tailored recommendations through phone interactions.
  • Obtain and review necessary documentation to ensure comprehensive understanding of customer situations.
  • Making informed decisions and taking actions on customer accounts, prioritizing their best interests and those of the bank.
  • Ensure all customer interactions adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on financial assistance decisions based on identified risks.
  • Deliver insights, analysis, and suggestions for process improvements and credit policy enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in Hardship, Debt Collection, or Banking sectors.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services.
  • Thorough comprehension of consumer laws and legislations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with sound decision-making abilities.
  • Reliability and commitment to contractual obligations.
