About The Opportunity
This APS6 Project Officer role is a full-time, 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. The position supports a flexible hybrid work model, promoting an excellent work-life balance. While the role allows for remote work, some in-office presence is necessary. Only Australian Citizens are eligible for this position.
About The Role
The Service Design Division is responsible for creating process, platform, and practice solutions that align with Agency objectives. The division integrates co-design principles and a stakeholder-centric approach to ensure our solutions deliver maximum value to diverse audiences. In accordance with the Participant Service Charter principles, the division enhances transparency in Agency decision-making through consistent processes, guidance, and communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and oversee project plans and timelines, offering expert advice and technical support.
- Conduct independent research and analysis, drafting reports, business cases, and corporate documents.
- Track project budgets, manage procurement and contracts, and contribute to risk and quality management for project outcomes.
- Update and maintain the Branch's confluence, intranet pages, and resource library. Assist in the development and upkeep of project artifacts, including setting up Confluence for the Branch.
- Coordinate and draft high-level internal and external communications, such as reports, advisory documents, presentations, and responses.
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Demonstrated experience as a project officer
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
