CPL, a leading provider of disability support services in Queensland and Northern New South Wales, is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Advisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits across CPL's service programs to ensure exceptional care and quality standards.
  • Implement our risk management strategy, promoting a proactive approach to minimizing risks and safeguarding clients and staff.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and risk areas, informing our audit strategy and driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date on legislative changes and industry best practices.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has demonstrable experience managing and leading internal audit, assurance, and compliance activities, preferably in the disability sector.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of risk management principles and can promote a positive risk culture.
  • Has experience working with external auditors on compliance assessments against industry standards.
  • Boasts excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also:

  • Hold relevant risk and/or audit qualifications.
  • Be able to travel as needed for compliance activities and staff training.
  • Possess a current driver's license with regular access to a vehicle.
  • Have a Working with Children Check (QLD) or Working with Children Check (NSW) and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
