Job Title: Risk and Compliance Analyst

Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our client, Townsville City Council, in their Information Technology Services division.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk and compliance across the IT division, developing and delivering an annual risk and compliance program, conducting compliance reviews, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the IT division
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant policies and legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize risk management initiatives
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance risk management awareness and skills
  • Monitor and report on risk management metrics and key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant risk and compliance discipline
  • Minimum of five years' industry experience, including three years in a similar role
  • Experience in IT risk management and compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
