Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to conduct audits across CPL's service programs, ensuring clients receive exceptional care and we meet all quality standards.
  • Play a key role in implementing our risk management strategy, promoting a proactive approach to minimizing risks and safeguarding our clients and staff.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards like the NDIS Practice Standards.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and risk areas, informing our audit strategy and driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date on legislative changes and industry best practices, keeping CPL at the forefront of quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing and leading internal audit, assurance, and compliance activities, preferably in the disability sector.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and ability to promote a positive risk culture.
  • Experience working with external auditors on compliance assessments against industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
