We're seeking a skilled Aerospace Systems Manager to join our team at New Shepard, a commercially operating, suborbital reusable launch vehicle. In this role, you will oversee the refurbishment, upgrade, and pre-launch preparations of a New Shepard Booster or Crew Capsule, ensuring it's flight-ready by the desired launch date.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing schedules and coordinating resources for post-flight vehicle health checks and non-conformance resolution
  • Maintaining situational awareness of integrated system impacts while troubleshooting multiple subsystems
  • Collaborating with technicians and engineers to author work instructions and execute complex tasks
  • Supporting the day of launch from the Engineering Backroom, providing real-time troubleshooting and background context
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, marine, automotive, or ground support systems operations or maintenance
  • Exceptional technical communication skills, including written and verbal presentations
  • Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills in a real-time operations environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot multiple subsystems and maintain situational awareness
  • PMP certification preferred
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $97,740-$136,836, depending on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
