Job Description

The Assistant Director AIC Program Support and Assurance role requires a motivated and collaborative leader to provide advice and support to procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and contract management on matters related to Australian Industry Capability.

This involves leading industry engagement activities, supporting the growth of AIC Program awareness, and managing contracts on behalf of the branch where appropriate.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of advice and support to procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and contract management on matters related to Australian Industry Capability.
  • Lead industry engagement activities, and support the growth of AIC Program awareness.
  • Support negotiations of contracts with suppliers and finalise AIC elements of contracts with clients.
  • Undertake procurement and manage contracts on behalf of the branch where appropriate.
  • Prepare briefing material to support Ministerial meetings and events relating to the AIC program.
  • Manage and lead a team, including by providing clear and consistent communication, setting performance and behavioural standards, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
