Explosive Ordnance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Explosive Ordnance Engineer to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients, embedded within a vibrant team, on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign defence capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and address risk.
  • Prepare contract changes, technical documentation, schedules and other project material.
  • Support integration activities including ship installations.
  • Conduct certification activities for the explosive ordnance in accordance with EMB processes.
  • Support the introduction into service of the NSM capability through MARBs and Seaworthiness activities.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an EO Engineer, with in-depth knowledge and experience to undertake tasks of increasing complexity. They will be able to consider the problem, derive a range of potential solutions from existing possibilities and decide on the best course of action to reach a cost-effective outcome.
