About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage project delivery, ensuring technical excellence and project success. In this role, you'll oversee complex construction, commissioning, and multi-disciplinary works.

  • Supporting the Project Manager in planning, programming, and providing technical leadership to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversighting project cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure financial performance aligns with expectations.
  • Managing subcontractor selection, coordination, and performance to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Leading quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Facilitating the commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and seamless integration.
  • Working collaboratively with the client and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address project requirements.
What You'll Bring to the Team

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record of managing complex water infrastructure projects. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary degree in either Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in delivering projects for local water authorities, including treatment plant upgrades, minor capital works, and rehabilitation projects.
  • Expertise in project cost control, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong skills in construction programming and scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to project sites.
