About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP). This program is a significant undertaking, requiring strong leadership and a collaborative approach.

  • As Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project execution, operational efficiency, and strong client relationships.
  • You will lead a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple projects and disciplines.
  • Day-to-day, you will oversee the successful execution of all projects within the program, drive financial performance, and lead a proactive approach to risk, compliance, and safety.
  • You will also build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring Abergeldie remains as a trusted delivery partner for WaterNSW.
  • In addition, you will support, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and opportunities to succeed and grow within the program.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in program management within the water sector, overseeing multi-disciplinary projects involving civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs.
  • A strategic and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage complexity and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, mitigate risks, and optimise financial performance across complex programs.
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
