The director engages stakeholders to align with business needs and communicates program goals and achievements effectively, fostering an inclusive culture. Leadership duties include enhancing team performance, promoting diversity, and providing high-level advice to support departmental objectives.

Additionally, the director contributes to organizational and governmental reforms, driving efficiency and alignment with strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince2 / PMBok) or Agile Certification.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in traditional project management and agile delivery, or a relevant business discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 7 years) managing complex and diverse data and digital programs in a government or large private sector organization.
  • Experience relevant to the accountabilities and capabilities of the role.

Desirable

  • Experience in technology, data and/or customer-facing digital channel delivery.
