Marketing Professional

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Professional to join our team.

Brisbane Economic Development Agency is the economic development board for the Greater Brisbane Region. Our mission is to grow Brisbane's economy.

  • Support the marketing strategy and project delivery for Brisbane from a consumer perspective, inclusive of communications & PR;
  • Deliver campaign management, implementation, measurement, reporting, and budget control for the tourism, business & major events department;
  • Manage internal and external marketing partners, including creative, graphic design, communications, media, research, activation, digital, and production;
  • Develop and oversee marketing partnership agreements ensuring deliverables are effectively managed, prioritised, and meet deadlines;
  • Implement activities that build the Brisbane destination brand, such as content curation and creation, management of influencer marketing collaborations, and maintenance of internal assets;
  • Assist the marketing manager with marketing reporting, including monitoring campaign effectiveness, reviews, and recommendations;

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or other related degree;
  • Minimum 3 years' marketing experience, preferably gained in consumer marketing, either in a marketing agency or in-house;
  • Demonstrated experience executing marketing activities and campaigns through digital channels in a consumer-facing environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, content creation, content marketing, and social media;
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage multiple projects;
  • Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (required) and Adobe software (basic preferable), including use and maintenance of databases;
  • Experience producing post-project/campaign analysis and reports;
