
Administrative Specialist

The Investigations and Enforcement Directorate is responsible for providing frontline advisory, triage and response functions. They lead investigations of workplace health and safety matters, manage high-risk workplaces and repeat offender programs, and coordinate SafeWork's enforceable undertakings function.
This role would suit a resilient and committed person who can work in a complex regulatory environment. You will deliver high-quality customer service and support to the director and directorate, contributing to priority initiatives.
You will have autonomy and make decisions as directed by the director. Maintaining confidentiality is critical, as you will be exposed to sensitive information.
To be successful, you must have previous administrative and customer service experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative services to the director and directorate, including data entry, procurement, finance processes, travel arrangements, and correspondence preparation.
- Delivering quality administrative services, negotiating workable timeframes, and addressing unforeseen issues.
- Gathering and collating information, preparing documentation, and responding to enquiries.
- Coordinating and managing records, databases, and office systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
