About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. This is a fantastic opportunity for a financial professional looking to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on major development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead feasibility analysis for significant property development projects, providing detailed assessments of financial viability, risks, and returns.
  • Partner with the development team to provide strategic financial advice throughout the project life cycle, from concept to completion.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows, ensuring financial discipline across all stages of development.
  • Develop complex financial models, incorporating scenario analysis to aid in decision-making and project planning.
  • Oversee project cost tracking, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and addressing variances in a timely manner.
  • Provide leadership in stakeholder management, working closely with finance teams, project managers, contractors, and external auditors.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and board-level stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Candidate should have a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in property development and financial modeling.
  • High-level proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
