**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Greenkeeping Professional to join our team at Dent Island Golf Club. This is a unique opportunity to work on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world, nestled in the middle of a National Park.

The 360 degree views of the out-laying islands and the sparking blue water of the Whitsunday passage make this truly one of the most beautiful offices in the world. The stunning Hamilton Island Golf Course is ranked in the top 20 public access courses in Australia.

As a Greenkeeper, you will assist our Golf Course Superintendent with preparing and maintaining the golf course greens and garden areas. Your role will undertake turf and garden maintenance and landscape construction duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all course fairways, tees, greens and rough areas
  • Apply fertilizers as directed by the supervisor, including maintaining a log of application
  • Assist with course irrigation
  • Maintain oil, fuel and fluid levels for all types of grounds-keeping machinery

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Turf Management or Greenkeeping
  • A valid Driver Licence
  • A Chemical Handling certificate (highly regarded)
  • Sound knowledge of machinery and equipment related to this industry
  • Previous experience in a similar role
