Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and enhancing turf areas through regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing.
- Monitoring turf health and proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction.
- Implementing sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques.
- Operating and maintaining specialized turf equipment and machinery.
- Collaborating with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their expectations and provide turf care recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
- Cricket Wicket experience (desirable).
- Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field.
- Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery.
