Job Overview

The Clinical Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical services and governance to multidisciplinary mental health teams. This position ensures the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care that focuses on patient recovery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional clinical leadership, consultancy skills, and knowledge of contemporary mental health practices.
  • Leverages expertise to drive clinical excellence and supervise mental health clinicians across various disciplines.
  • Maintains rigorous standards of clinical practice while critically evaluating policies and procedures.
  • Fosters effective communication with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintains current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Key Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant postgraduate experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and think critically.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and strong communication skills.
