Leadership Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Fleet Workshop Supervisor

Due to strong business growth, we seek an experienced Fleet Workshop Supervisor to oversee our well-equipped workshop and ensure reliable performance of our 24/7 heavy vehicle fleet.

This leadership role involves managing a team, driving productivity, safety, and quality at all times. You will report directly to the Service Manager and play a critical part in maintaining peak efficiency within our operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of workshop technicians to deliver high-quality servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
  • Monitor and drive team performance, providing clear direction and accountability.
  • Manage workflow scheduling, parts requirements, and job allocation.
  • Maintain strong compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Essential).
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in a heavy vehicle workshop environment (Essential).
  • HR/HC driver license (Highly regarded).
  • Forklift License (Highly regarded).

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop supervisory role.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate a team.
  • High-level organisational skills with attention to detail.
