Occupational Therapy Educator in Mental Health

The Occupational Therapy Educator Mental Health & Wellbeing is a key position established to support the implementation of the Statewide Early Careers Initiative. This role has been funded by the Victorian Department of Health for a fixed period to provide professional supervision and management of Occupational Therapy graduates and novice learners in the Mental Health & Wellbeing and Addiction Medicine Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership in Allied Health Clinical Education
- Implement and maintain the Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program in line with Department of Health Model requirements
- Work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapy Discipline lead to further develop Allied Health/Occupational Therapy Clinical Education
- Promote a culture of reflection, continuous learning, and workforce development
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Master of Occupational Therapy (Prac)
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of ten (10) years post-graduate experience and a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain
