  1. Docketing management involves managing trade mark applications and registrations.
  2. Conducting trade mark searches ensures that new marks do not infringe on existing ones.
  3. Drafting search reports documents the findings of these searches.
  4. Prosecuting trade mark and design applications involves representing clients before relevant authorities.
  5. Conducting due diligence reviews a client's trade marks and other intellectual property assets.
  6. Assisting on oppositions and infringement matters helps protect clients' rights.
  7. Design searches and registration ensure that clients' designs are properly protected.
  8. Providing general trade mark and IP advice helps clients navigate complex issues.
Experience

Candidates should have at least three years of experience working in a commercial law firm or specialist IP practice.

To be successful, they must have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

A genuine interest in progressing their career within the exciting area of trade marks is essential.

A commercially minded team player who values working in a positive team environment is required.
