Job Description

As a Senior Construction Manager, you will play a key role in the overall delivery of our large and complex construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking the lead on site safety management to ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Ensuring quality compliance on all projects.
  • Planning, programming, and site management, understanding and complying with Buildcorp's business systems.
  • Managing project supervisors, subcontractors, and site labour to the project plan, drawings, and specifications.
  • Leading high-level communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings with site teams and clients.
  • People management and leadership, managing and coaching staff effectively to achieve project and individual goals.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of legislation, rules, regulations, and standards relating to building sites.
  • Solid understanding of project planning, materials handling, and programming.
  • Ability to manage providers within agreed contracts.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ASTA.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • Well-developed ability to lead, coach, and motivate large and complex site teams.
