About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Specialised Caregiver to join our team at HammondCare Woy Woy. As a Specialised Caregiver, you will provide tailored care to residents, including personal support within the residential home.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care, such as showering, grooming, and toileting
  • Engaging residents in life-enhancing activities
  • Supporting residents with varying levels of dementia
  • Recognising and responding to changes in resident conditions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A genuine passion for serving elderly people
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Knowledge and experience in caring for individuals with dementia
  • Desirable qualifications include Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care
