Job Opportunity

This role is open to individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

The Disability Day Services Practitioner will work closely with clients to identify their goals and develop strategies to achieve them.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Supporting clients in goal-orientated learning and empowering them to push beyond their boundaries;
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and meal support;
  • Promoting community inclusion by identifying and facilitating engagement opportunities based on client interests;

To be successful in this role, you must have or be willing to complete the following:

Key Requirements

Certification: A Certificate 3 in Mental Health, Disability or similar;

Current Qualifications: Current First Aid and CPR certification, NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain);

Training: Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module;
