Policy Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, interpreting findings and making informed recommendations on policy implications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality briefings, presentations and reports based on analysis of key data and trends
  • Review data sources for quality and make recommendations for any improvements to data collection needed for an effective performance monitoring framework
  • Initiate, maintain and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Attend working groups and forums to facilitate information exchange and collaborative research projects related to the evaluation and monitoring of the planning system

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of high-quality briefings and reports
  • Demonstrated capacity to undertake analysis and reporting activities
  • An understanding of the land use planning system in Victoria is desirable
  • Experience in public sector
