Nurse Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Shoreline, a luxury aged care facility on the Mid North Coast of NSW. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical care for our residents, including dementia, falls management, wound care, continence management, and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to residents, including assessments, care planning, and medication management.
- Lead and develop the clinical team, ensuring best practice and quality care is delivered.
- Collaborate with Enrolled Nurses, Companions, and Allied Healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Facilitate case conferences with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met.
- Manage admissions, leave, and discharge, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a proven track record of compassion, kindness, and empathy. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and professionally with limited supervision. A strong understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for older people in residential care are essential.
Requirements- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in residential aged care nursing, with a focus on clinical assessments, care planning, and clinical indicator analysis.
- Ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
- Highly developed organisational skills and ability to determine work priorities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
