About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our Digital Products division and lead the development of our Safe Production System (SPS) suite of digital products.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for translating business and technical needs into a scalable software product that delivers demonstrable user and business value.
You will work closely with Domain Leaders, Product Groups, Centres of Excellence, and other Product Managers to ensure that products meet the end-user requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the key point of contact for SPS product development/demand in the domain for Digital Products.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that products meet the end-user requirements.
- Developing compelling product propositions and determining strategic positioning to optimize business process.
- Exhibiting a forward-thinking mindset, constantly envisioning future states of the product in alignment with evolving business conditions and strategies.
- Monitoring product performance continuously to ensure it meets desired business outcomes and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Providing oversight to fusion teams within Digital Products, working closely with Design, Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Product Operations.
- Leading the planning and execution of scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Building and maintaining trust with stakeholders through consistent, high-quality product delivery, and effective communication.

What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- A graduate degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of Product Management experience.
- Experience in working across mining value chains or business improvement roles is desirable.
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to both technical and business audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. Prior experience with managing large groups of stakeholders.
- Broad understanding of product lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills – being able to communicate effectively both strategic vision and specific details to various stakeholders, from leadership to individual team members and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
