Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our Product and Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and consultancy services to our customers, ensuring they maximise the value of our technology tools.



About the Role:


This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be working closely with our operational teams to provide first-line technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for all Corporate Technology applications.



Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain application support processes and ensure that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures
  • Act as the contact point for all cases received via phone, chat, and via the case queue
  • Provide first-line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocate unresolved issues as appropriate
  • Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, and problem resolution
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend options, implementing if required
  • Collaborate with, and facilitate stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements
  • Provide detailed and specific advice regarding the application of your specialism(s) to the organisation's planning and operations
  • Prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures
  • Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution
  • Facilitate recovery, following resolution of incidents
  • Document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures


About You:


We are looking for someone with prior experience in a call centre or in travel, excellent customer-facing consultancy experience, knowledge of FCTG's corporate business, and prior Travel Manager Experience or IT support desk experience.
