Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Communications Supervisor to join our team at CPB Contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and managing the work performance of self and direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources, and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage and supervise the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the project.
  • Team Management: Manage the work performance of self and direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Subcontract Management: Ensure subcontracts act safely and comply with safety requirements, and manage the procurement of materials required to complete works.
  • Environmental Management: Implement the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and ensure construction staff understand their responsibilities and duty of care.

Requirements

  • Electrical Trade Qualification: Possess an electrical trade qualification and a minimum of 8 years of experience supervising and leading a team of trades in large infrastructure projects.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective leadership skills in managing relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to successfully deliver project outcomes, and possess excellent communication skills to liaise with multi-disciplined stakeholders simultaneously.
