About the Role

Haines Electrical Service is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the site, people, and project, with the support of the Foreman/Site Manager on each site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and manage project finances.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Current Electrical Fitter Mechanic QLD Licence.
  • Manual C Class Car License with a clean driving history.
  • Current Low Voltage Rescue and CPR certification or willingness to gain.
