About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to join our Communications & Control team in Brisbane.

In this role, you will coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources, and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules on the Cross River Rail – Tunnels & Stations Project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, specifications, EBA, and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the utilisation of all on-site resources for the project.
  • Manage the work performance of self and direct reports.
  • Ensure subcontracts act safely and comply with safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.
  • Construction delivery in relation to environmental management and compliance in conjunction with the Environment and Community Manager.
  • Authority to direct personnel and/or subcontractors to carry out actions to avoid or minimise unintended environmental impacts.
  • Procurement Preparation of materials required to complete works.
  • Implementation of the CEMP and ensuring Construction staff understand their responsibilities and duty of care.
Requirements
  • Electrical trade qualification.
  • 8+ years experience supervising and leading a team of trades in a large infrastructure project.
  • Experience in liaising with multi-disciplined stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Effective leadership skills in managing relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers to successfully deliver project outcomes.
