The Role

This role operates on Thursdays to Saturdays with varying hours. By applying, you confirm your availability to work across those days.

As a Point-of-Sale (POS) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing point-of-sale operations. Your mission is to lead by example and guide your point-of-sale team to provide JD Sports customers with a fast and efficient shopping experience.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Processing sales including refunds and exchanges as the lead POS operator
  • Being the first point of contact for customer queries via phone
  • Ensuring compliance to all transactions and cash handling procedures
  • Supporting the management team by training & coaching POS team on process and customer service delivery

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within retail or a similar industry
  • A passion for creating an amazing service experience for our customers
  • Cash-handling and tender management experience preferred
  • The ability to make decisions and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • A proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPI's
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
