Field Service Team Lead

Supervise a team of field service technicians to deliver exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries, manage phone calls and walk-ins;
  • Determine project scope and provide upfront cost estimates;
  • Establish timelines for required services or repairs;
  • Keep customers informed about costs, progress, and changes to work;
  • Allocate tasks to technicians to optimize labor resources;
  • Ensure team members have clear direction on daily activities;
  • Manage work orders and timesheets;
  • Assist with parts and tool ordering for each job;
  • Monitor adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements;
  • Guarantee warranty work meets Caterpillar guidelines;
  • Provide technical support and diagnostic expertise as needed.
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification;
  • Leadership experience or certification leading a small team;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Solid influencing and negotiation abilities;
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Current driver's license;
  • Familiarity with CAT systems an asset.
