Category Leadership Expert

Maintain and execute category plans for fresh produce, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy and ongoing business priorities.

  • Analyse produce seasonality, supply risks, and pricing trends to inform category strategies.
  • Negotiate, onboard, and manage growers and suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and value.
  • Partner with Culinary, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality teams to optimise sourcing outcomes.
  • Lead RFQ/RFP cycles, negotiate long-term agreements, and execute commercial opportunities.

Control category spend, achieve COGS reduction targets, and drive long-term procurement savings.

Ensure supplier compliance with environmental and packaging standards, while embedding sustainability initiatives.
