Structural Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in a senior-level role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and project management capabilities.

This role involves providing high-quality structural engineering analysis and design solutions for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop structural engineering designs and analyses for foundation, concrete, and steel structures.
  • Prepare, review, and check engineering calculations, technical specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle to deliver value within project performance criteria.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftspersons during the design and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with design review processes and design quality requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in structural design, particularly in steel and concrete structures for mineral processing plants and related industries.
  • Proven experience managing client interactions on design and drafting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations.
