About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Your timely and insightful analysis will enable effective decision-making by wider business and finance stakeholders. You will leverage your critical and analytical thinking capabilities to reimagine existing accounting and assurance processes, challenging the status quo to innovate and utilize tools that improve operational efficiency.

As a business partner, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, improving transparency and uplifting self-serve capabilities. Your work will involve:

Main Responsibilities
  • Monthly Accounting and Assurance Reporting and Analysis: Complete P&L and Balance Sheet assurance activities, producing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis to proactively manage financials.
  • Process Management and Continuous Improvement: Support the streamlining of accounting and assurance processes through innovation and leveraging tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic/Operational Initiatives: Support various strategic and operational initiatives, such as reconciliation uplift and Blackline automation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, including offshore partners, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and provide financial/accounting support for projects and ongoing financial management.
  • Compliance and Governance: Support audit and governance-related activities, ensuring all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
About You
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • In-depth technical accounting experience, including knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in financial systems and IT tools/processes to optimize data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of controls, QA, and governance frameworks.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to gather data, analyze information, and translate analysis into actions and decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
