Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

As a key member of our finance team, we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to manage and deliver accurate financial statements, month-end reporting, and day-to-day bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting: Prepare monthly financial closing for multiple onshore entities, ensuring timely and accurate reports. Collaborate with external accounting providers as required to support financial closing.
  • Management Accounting and Budgeting: Assist in preparing annual operating and capital budgets through a consultative process with local and group teams. Monitor project and capital expenditure against approved budget.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying and implementing financial system improvements, processes, and procedures. Interface with the group accounting team and respond to queries and ad-hoc requests.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CA qualification commenced or completed
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software packages
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think independently and critically

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Exposure to AI tools or experience implementing technology-driven improvements in accounting functions
