Job Overview:

The Asset Strategy Lead is a critical role that oversees the development and implementation of asset management strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term sustainability.
  • Own and improve standards and processes for Strategic Asset Management Planning, Asset Management Policy, and Whole of Life Plans.
  • Act as the business owner of asset planning systems and tools, ensuring they support data-driven, risk-informed asset planning and consistent execution.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and capability uplift initiatives, fostering collaboration across Site Operations, Engineering, Portfolio Planning, and Finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in ISO 55000 Asset Management principles.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in asset management and/or strategy, with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders and leading strategic change.
