Job Role: Occupational Therapist

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated occupational therapist to join our team.

About the Job
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers with work-related or non-work-related injuries, or those experiencing work-debilitating illnesses
  • Conduct assessments such as initial needs, workplace evaluations, ergonomics, and activities of daily living
  • Conduct specialist functional and pre-employment assessments for corporate customers
  • Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress toward return-to-work goals
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and employers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure progress and adjust plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for AHPRA accreditation upon graduation
  • Recent graduates or graduating in 2025
  • Comcare accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  • Current Working with Children Check and clear national criminal check
  • Full driver's license
